E-E-A-T for CRM software
The trust signals CRM brands need before Google ranks them and AI assistants put them on a buyer's shortlist.
Updated November 2026 · Reviewed every quarter
Why CRM trust is different
A CRM is the system of record for revenue. Buyers aren't only comparing features. They're deciding whether to trust you with their pipeline data, and now with AI agents that write into it.
- 87% of sales organizations use some form of AI, and 54% of sellers have used AI agents (Salesforce State of Sales, 2026).
- Comparing products is the top reason buyers use AI chatbots when they choose software (G2, 2026).
- In our own audits, 77% of SaaS websites still have more than 60% of their SEO issues open.
Trust signals for CRM software
Experience
- Migration results. Field-level results from real migrations: custom objects, activity history, attachments, owner mapping and error rates.
- Pipeline benchmarks from your platform. Aggregate win rates, deal velocity and pipeline coverage by industry, with methodology notes and a last-updated date.
- AI agent outcomes. Show the prompt, the output, and whether a human reviewed it. Concrete examples beat claims like "our AI summarizes calls."
- Case studies with hard numbers. Not "40% uplift in close rate" — "from 22% to 31% close rate on enterprise deals, measured over Q1–Q3 2026."
Expertise
- A pipeline glossary with your definitions. How you calculate lead score, when a deal moves to "committed," what counts as an activity, and how your AI handles duplicate detection.
- AI feature documentation. Which LLM powers your AI features, what data it trains on, how you handle hallucinations, and opt-out instructions.
- Sales methodology guides. MEDDIC, SPIN, Command of the Message — not just a mention that you "support them" but a walkthrough of how your CRM implements each step.
- Integration depth pages. Not a logo wall — one page per major integration (Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach) with field mapping, sync frequency and known limitations.
Authoritativeness
- G2 presence in the right categories. CRM, Sales Force Automation, AI Sales Assistant, Revenue Intelligence — with reviews refreshed each quarter.
- Analyst reports with full citations. Gartner Magic Quadrant position, Forrester Wave, IDC MarketScape — with the exact report name, year, and your quoted placement.
- Named experts in sales communities. RevOps Co-op, Pavilion, Sales Hacker — with affiliation disclosed in every post and profile.
- Partner certifications visible to buyers. HubSpot App Partner, Salesforce AppExchange, Microsoft commercial marketplace — with badge, link and last-verified date.
Trust
- SOC 2 Type II with audit period and auditor. Not a badge — the attestation letter, the audit firm and the exact coverage dates.
- Data residency options per region. US, EU, and APAC, with the specific cloud regions, not just "GDPR compliant."
- AI data usage policy. Which customer data your AI model trains on, what's opt-in vs. opt-out, and where to see and change the settings.
- A sub-processor list that's current. Name every third party that touches customer data, with the data category, processing location and the date last updated.
